Julia Brockman is a partner with DSL Lawyers, Macau. Having graduated in Law from the University of Lisbon, Portugal, Julia practised as a corporate lawyer with a Lisbon-based commercial law firm, thereupon moving to Macau in 1996.

She was employed by the Macau Government as Legal Adviser to the Maritime Department until the formation of the Macau SAR of the PRC in 1999, assisting in the update and drafting of maritime laws and regulations.

Subsequently she joined Companhia de Telecomunicações de Macau, S.A.R.L. (CTM) a full telecommunications service provider, as Legal Counsel and Company Secretary until May 2006, when she returned to private practice.

Julia’s primary areas of expertise are Corporate and Commercial Law, Telecommunications & IT and Construction, and she has been admitted to both the Macau and Portugal Bars.
